Will sent over these photos. The apartment building is about 100 yards from our house and the downtown area is about half a mile. It's crazy. The cops were outside our house re-directing traffic all day. I only had to do a bit of shop vacuuming in the basement but the poor people down the hill got rocked.

Dude, I feel so bad for you and everyone in that neighborhood. I spoke to my paremts yesterday and they told me that they got 8-10 inches of flooding in their basement, now that just bites the big one! My dad and brother were filling up buckets and then just poured it down the sink they have down there, and I think it helped them, from what he said. I hope we never see any of this ever again! Oy vey!
It wasn't that bad at all. No one was hurt and the streets were clear Sunday afternoon. I think it was more of a flash flood than anything else. Will was saying that this part of town was flooded back in the 50's or something. Seems like a bi-centennial event in Rockdale. Rock!
hey J, down here in Dirty jerz it rained like heck for like 4-5 days. Friday i was stuck in north jerz with massive flooding it took me 4+hours to get home. In normal conditions it would only take 1-1.5 hours.
Sunday when i went up to meet up with ram/PEZ and capt crash.. i could see the serious flooding that occured. my yard floods bad and my basement needed shop vac-ing a few times...
OK that sucks... up there, ya'll are getting flooded out just like LA, TX, MI.... and down here in the Deep south of Georgia, we are PRAYING for rain to prevent a drought. It sucks big ones. Thank goodness my Mom's house is up a hill! Glad you didn't get hi to hard Jay.
