Mixed Martial Arts in my future?

As I continue with physical therapy and talk to my PT and Doctors I realize I could be good to go with MMA. This makes me tingly all over. I love training, competing, and fighting. (the good kind though). So I can't wait until i'm back to 100% and I can start training for a match.

Jenny has bought me Chuck Liddell's 6 dvd set for my birthday to keep my mind busy while I wait for my body to catch up. The dvd set is really good. It's quite advanced and fun to just watch. Rad stuff!

I'm having to quit Karate due to my new full-time job. I'm hoping to continue, but I may look into Tae-Kwon-Do or another style if they offer different hours for classes. Hope you're healing is going well. It's probably very similar to what I have done.

Does anyone know much about Krav Maga? It looks brutal and better suited to my body size / shape as I can't snap high kicks up there with the rest of you fuckers. I'm all about the close quarters heavy elbows and holds... Any advice?

Dave: We have to get you into class at Matt's. So much fun!!

Frozin: That's a bummer man but totally understandable. Let me know if you snag a different style.

Andy: Krav is what the israeli soldiers learn right? To the best of my knowledge it's like a 6 week course full of death moves. Sounds fun! I'm so psyched you are looking into an "art" though!

Jay if your serious give me a call. I work part time for a wrestling company and many of the wrestlers also compete in amatuer MMA events. All we talk about backstage and on the road is MMA. If you want to get serious after recovery I can certainly try to direct you to the right people.
Hell next time were up there for a show come on up and I'll introduce you to the guys. We live for this shit.
