For those of you who wanted to know what the action was like at the Chuck Norris WCL event the other night. Good stuff. Check out the kid they call Wonderboy. He's never lost and better yet, has never won without knocking out his opponent. Remember they only get two 3 minute rounds.. so that's pretty freaking impressive!Windows Media Only

Oh wow, Santiago mad a killer move. She started kick, saw it wasn't going to get in and switch to a jab before her foot was even on the ground. That takes some major skill! Wonderboy's roundhouse is friggen quick too! (Although it looked like the whole movie was sped up a bit, maybe that was just my player though...)

Santiago is definitely the favorite among all the girls but you've given her too much credit on the punch. She tried that fake kick to punch thing like 5 times the night I saw her. She never really intends to throw that kick. It's just a fake-out / easy way to build momemtum for that super man punch. If she had switched that fast, it would have been amazing. Unfortunately it's more like a carnival trick that happened to work once.
I like it. The ring is interesting with the bowl shape.
I liked Santiago's move with the kick lead in and then coming around with the cross. The problem is if this league included grappling your setting yourself up for a broken ankle as soon as your opponent grabs onto that foot.
When it comes to A.C. I'm going to check it out.
