Eat, eat, eat, and then eat some more.

Some of you have asked what I'm doing for a diet so I thought I would outlay it here in detail. I've taken a bunch of Vitamin B's and Asphyxiate's advice and modified my diet to include more increments. But here it is.

7:30am
2 scoops protein shake
16oz Vanilla Silk Light (soy milk)
1 Multi-Vitamin

10:00am
1 scoop protein shake
8oz Chocolate Silk (soy milk)

12:00pm
option #1 - Veggie Burger w/cheese
option #2 - 2 grilled cheese on wheat
option #3 - ft long veggie sub from subway
no sides - no chips - no fries!

2:00pm
1/2 Protein Plus PowerBar

4:00pm
1/2 Protein Plus PowerBar

5:45pm
1 scoop protein shake
8oz Chocolate Silk (soy milk)

6:45pm
7oz Dannon Light n Fit (before I work out)

8:00pm
2 scoops protein shake
4 oz Vanilla Silk Light (soy milk) + 12oz water mixed

Along with about 130 0z of water throughout the day. This puts me at around 1800 calories (depending on the lunch choice) which is right where I need to be to make sure the body isn't slowing down it's metabolic rate. I also (thanks to B and Andy) spike a meal or two each week. I eat a taco bell meal or something from Moe's to trick my body into burning more.

Right on man, thanks! It's a bit embarassing having your fatty butt out for the world to see but it's motivating knowing that people are checking on my progress each week. It keeps me working my tail off each day.

Makes me want to start dieting again. Where do you get your meal plans from?

I had went to this site and got the info on how many calories, protein, and carbs I needed and then came up with the most hassle free diet I could mix together. I have an additional struggle with protein since I am a vegitarian. That's why you don't see a lot of grilled chicken or steak in my diet and a whole lot of shakes

Jballs,
Diet's looking good, glad to see you broke it up into more meals and that you're making a good effort to get your protein in. I would like you to beef up your post workout meal a bit more if you can.

Do you have room in your calorific goals to hit up a big bowl of wheat-type cereal after the workout? That's when you need it most, braheim :)

Stoked you're getting into this so well. Burn on!

I think I screwed myself by swapping water for soy milk on my night time shake. I'm at 2242.. mmm.. my old math was wrong. I'm burning 3200 - 4000 a day so I still have a deficit. Andy, What do you think? Should I be ok with going over as long as it's good protein?

I think you're fine on that Jay. You're exercising like a fiend, so don't be afraid of the extra calories as long as they are not junk calories. As a point of reference, even when cutting I eat around 3500 cals per day. When bulking I aim for more like 4000-4500.
